At Footprints Connections, we understand that choosing a respite home and disability services can be a significant decision. Here are some common questions we receive and our responses to help you better understand our services.

Who can access your respite services?

We welcome individuals of all ages with a range of needs and abilities. Our care is inclusive, person-centred, and tailored to each guest.

We support a wide range of needs including intellectual and developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, autism spectrum, sensory and behavioral needs. 

How can I make a booking or enquiry?

The admission process at Footprints Connections begins with an initial assessment to understand individual needs. After acceptance, we assist families with paperwork and offer a tour of our residence to ensure everyone feels comfortable.

Can we use our own Support Worker to access Footprints activities or guest house respite stays?

Yes, we offer a BYO Support Worker option, so even the most complex of guests can attend, whilst putting Parents/Carer’s minds at ease, and giving them the break they deserve from the most important role of all.

Can I make a payment using NDIS?

What’s included in the fees?

Is it possible for me to take a tour and meet the team?

Yes, we take Plan Managed and Self-Managed participants.

24/7 Support based on your booking (i.e. 1:1, 2:1, etc.), meals, activities, transport during your stay and a whole lot of fun!

What do I need to bring for an overnight stay?

Bring everything you would pack as if you were going on a holiday – all medications, PEG/PEJ feeds, toiletries, continence aids, clothes, hat, sunglasses, favourite comfort items or devices, communication tools, etc. For those oral fed, we provide all your favourites to make your stay more enjoyable.

Safety is our top priority. We implement strict health and safety protocols and conduct regular safety checks. Our facility is equipped with monitoring systems and staff is trained to handle emergencies effectively to ensure each guests safety.
